Structural Integration is advanced bodywork, a deep tissue massage that focuses on the protective layer of connective tissue called fascia. This technique aligns and balances the body by lengthening it allowing the muscles to move more efficiently. The pull of gravity, the stress of daily activities and physical injuries can pull the body out of alignment. When a body is aligned and balanced, it moves with greater ease.
Fascial Stretch Therapy combines manual therapy and movement to increase flexibility in the connective tissue. Flexibility is restored in the joint capsules, ligaments, tendons and the fascial web found throughout the body. Traction, oscillation and movement are used to alleviate pain, prevent injury and increase overall performance of the body.
Active cupping is effective in releasing restrictions in the fascia and scar tissue. By decompressing the tissue, increased local blood supply nourishes the muscles and skin. Conditions with chronic and acute pain can be relieved with minimal discomfort and tense muscles softened quickly and easily.
Prenatal massage can help reduce anxiety, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, reduce swelling, improve nerve pain, improves circulation and aids in better sleep.
Lactate produced and accumulated by the body decreases performance causing muscular aches and pains. Post-event massage is effective in reducing delayed muscle soreness.
